EUROMEDICA SA, following its plan for further expansion of its network in the primary segment of the health-care industry, informs the investment public and its shareholders that in 15/1/2007 started its operations the new medical centre at Nea Ionia of Volos.
The participation of EUROMEDICA in the above medical centre mounts to 40%, while the rest 60% belongs to distinguished doctors of Volos.
The new medical centre, which operates computed tomography (CT), along with ultrasound dept. and vascular triplex ultrasound, is the third-one owned by EUROMEDICA GROUP in the area of Volos, after "Ygeia of Volos" and "Magnitiki Tomografia of Volos".
With the above acquisition, the network of the medical centres of EUROMEDICA in Greece mount to 26, out of which the 14 are located in Attica (the two of them will begin their operation soon), 4 in Thessalonica including the new laboratory "EVROGENETIKI", 2 in Crete, 3 in Volos and from 1 in Larisa, Serres and Ptolemaida.
