Mytilineos Holdings S.A. wishes to announce that on 11.9.2006 an irrevocable sale and share transfer agreement was signed with the companies METALINDUSTRY N. PETSIOS AND SONS S.A. and WESTERN GREECE STAKES S.A. concerning the shares of SPIDER ENERGY COMPANY S.A.. Mytilineos Holdings acquired from the above two shareholders the 100% of the share capital of SPIDER ENERGY COMPANY S.A., amounting to 250,000 common nominal shares. The total price of the transaction reached six million eight hundred a nd fifty thousand euro (6,850,000) - that is, 27.40 Euro per share.

Also, Mytilineos Holdings S.A. announces that it has a 99% stake of the share capital of the newly founded NORTH AEGEAN RENEWABLE SOURCES S.A. aiming initially to develop, construct, and exploit two wind parks of 38 MW and 40 MW power in the areas of Chalkidiki and Kallipoli of Norhtern Greece respectively.
