A concession contract was signed today between the Greek State, the societe anonyme ''THERMAIKI ODOS S.A.'' and its shareholders - ''ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB S.A.'' (50%), ''BOSKALIS INTERNATIONAL BV'' (17.5%) and ''ARCHIRODON GROUP NV'' (32.5%) for the project ''DESIGN - CONSTRUCTION - FINANCING - OPERATION - MAINTENANCE AND EXPLOITATION OF THE THESSALONIKI SUBMARINE ROAD ARTERY''. This contract is expected to be validated within 4 months by the Greek Parliament and works will start between February and March 2007. The construction period is 4 years, the concession period is 30 years and the total investment of the project is estimated at 472 mil. euro. The total length of the road artery is 6.5 kilometres, out of which 4 kilometres will be underground. The companies participating in the constructing joint-venture of the abovementioned project are ''AKTOR S.A.'', ''BOSKALIS INTERNATIONAL BV.'' and ''ARCHIRODON GROUP NV''.
