Having regard to the announcement released yesterday by the Board of Directors of "Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd.", Piraeus Bank being the major shareholder in Bank of Cyprus acknowledges and appreciates the remarks made by the Bank of Cyprus'' management in respect of the latter''s development path and prospects.
In the course of the next days, Piraeus Bank will present its proposal for a framework of cooperation between the two Groups, aiming to provide mutual benefits for shareholders in both banks.
