Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, NYSE: OTE), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider, today announces the appointment of Merrill Lynch International as its exclusive Advisor with regards to the sale of part of the Hellenic Republic''s 38.7% stake in OTE. The process was initiated by the Hellenic Republic in late 2006.
