Euromedica S.A. continuing its expansion plan for further development of its network, announces to its investors that it proceeded in the acquisition of 49% of the medical centre "PROLIPTIKI IATRIKI PALAIOU FALIROU - EUROMED LTD" by purchasing 49% of the company shares with an advance payment of Euro 194,775. The above medical centre, which is located in Palaio Faliro of Attica will cover the needs of Southern Attica by providing the working license for the diagnostic laboratory of depictions and the Computerized Tomography scanner (CT) along with the only license issued for Nuclear medicine (scintigraphies of heart-body) and a diagnostic laboratory for biological materials (microbiology) in the shire of Palaio Faliro. The estimated budget for the full renovation of the medical centre and the updated medical equipment comes to Euro 1 million. The annual business turnover for 2007 is valued at Euro 700,000. By the acquisition of the above medical centre, the company is aiming at the creation of a very modern centre that will offer the latest medical equipment and experienced staff in a fully renovated building.
