BALKAN EXPORT SA, a company of the MICHANIKI Group, would like to announce that it stopped its activities in the wood industry so as to develop in the real estate field (real estate commercial and residential development) in Greece and abroad. The company intends to advance to investments alongside the parent company for the development of urban and non-urban real estate and the construction of big residential units as well as the development, management and utilisation of urban and non-urban real estate belonging to the company or third parties, participating in enterprises with the same or similar objectives as well as real estate investment businesses. Substantial steps have been taken by BALKAN EXPORT SA towards the aforementioned directions, participating with a significant percentage in the Group companies MICHANIKI RUSSIA, MICHANIKI EGYPT and MICHANIKI BELARUS. In the Greek market, the Company is looking into proposals in the Greek market for the development of a privately owned plot of a total area of 358,037 square meters in Aghialos Thessaloniki. The Company, after the assessment of existing or possible future proposals, will decide on the development of this plot either in cooperation or on its own, always having as a criterion the best financial result.
