The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (OTE SA), announces that:
On August 16, 2007, Marfin Investment Group, acquired 25,974,047 shares, which correspond to 5.30% of OTE SA's share capital and the same percentage on the total voting rights. Following this transaction Marfin Investment Group's direct participation in the share capital and the corresponding voting rights of OTE SA stands at 5.30%.
