Further to the announcement dated 18/07/2007, Marfin Popular Bank Group announces that due to the summer holidays the discussions for the merger of its subsidiary company Laiki Investments Public Co Ltd with CLR Capital Public Ltd are expected to be resumed at the end of the current month and to be completed within the first weeks of September.
