The Board of Directors of MARFIN FINANCIAL GROUP announces the commencement of trading on the ATHEX, on Friday, December 23, 2005 of the 25.000.000 new common registered shares of the company of a par value of Euro 8,26 each. The aforementioned new shares have been issued following the share capital increase, according to the resolution of the Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting of September 29, 2005.
The AthEx Board of Directors in its meeting on December 20, 2005, admitted listing of the aforesaid shares. It is certified that, the new shares will be credited to the Investors' Accounts and the Securities Accounts held with the Dematerialized Securities System (DSS) by the day of commencement of trading.
