Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, NYSE: OTE), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider, announced that it has acquired today 925,000 common shares of Cosmote SA, representing approximately 0.277% of the outstanding share capital of its Greek mobile phone subsidiary. The purchase was carried out at the price of 20.0 euros per share. As a result of that transaction, OTE's ownership of Cosmote's share capital increased from 66.723% to 67.0% for a total of 223,572,294 shares out of 333,688,110 outstanding Cosmote shares.
