As per EGNATIA BANK's corporate announcement of 03/01/2006, we confirm that there is no basis in fact whatsoever to scenarios which have recently appeared in the press with regard to strategic alliances or agreements between the Bank and other financial institutions. The Bank's Management has repeatedly stated that if, in the future any such agreements are made they will be announced to the Athens Exchange as is dictated by the law.
