The company "Hellenic Duty Free Shops S.A." (HDFS) announces that it was informed today through the electronic press, without prior notification, the issue of the decision of the under-Secretary of Finance Mr. Beza no Τ. 2117/9/20.04.2006 (Government Gazette Β' 616/25.04.2006) regarding the revocation of three previous ministerial decisions of the same Ministry: Τ. 5495/116/Β0019/30.12.2003 - G.G. no. 11/12.01.2004, Τ. 2067/22/26.05.2004 - G.G. no. 877/14.06.2004 and Τ. 893/5/07.03.2005 - G.G. no. 366/22.03.2005, which approved the sale from HDFS of duty free petrol to departing non EU drivers through the border crossings of Kipi Evros, Promachonas, Evzonoi, Ormenio and Kakavia. Based on these three ministerial decisions, this activity of the Company is totally legitimate and today the Company operates two petrol stations in the border crossings of Kipi Evros and Kakavia. The Company considers the recalling decision non legal and will appeal immediately to the Greek Courts for its cancellation.
