“HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A.” informs investors that its Board of Directors resolved at the meeting No. 1177/29.12.2011 to approve the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding between the company, the Hellenic Republic and the “Hellenic Republic Asset Development Funds S.A.” for the joint sale of their participations in DEPA Group.

 Furthermore, the Board of Directors decided the convocation of an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders with item on the agenda: Granting of the special permission provided by Article 23a C.L. 2190/1920 for the conclusion of the aforementioned Memorandum of Understanding.
