Announcement of important fact

ELLAKTOR informs the investing community that a contract has been signed in Sofia between its subsidiary, AKTOR S.A. and the Department of National Infrastructures under the Bulgarian Ministry of Public Works, for the construction of the STRUMA Motorway, LΟΤ-4 part between Sandanski and Kulata.

The project budget amounts to 55,980,000 leva excluding VAT (EUR 28,700,000 excluding VAT). The technical scope of the project includes, among others:

• The construction of a closed motorway with two traffic lanes and one emergency lane (E.L.) per direction; the overall width of the road deck is 25m over a length of 15km.
• The diversion of the route of the existing railway line to a length of 4km.

The total project construction term is 23 months and is financed by the European Union through the “Transport” program.

In light of the pressing needs to develop and upgrade infrastructure all over Bulgaria and having secured the necessary resources for the necessary works from the European Union, the prospects of AKTOR S.A.  in Bulgaria  are considered particularly optimistic.
