THRACE PLASTICS Group announces the establishment of a plant for the production of waterproof products via the use of Geosynthetic Clay Liner-GCL. The new production plant will operate under the company Thrace-Eurobent S.A. which is owned by Thrace Plastics & Co. S.A. (51%) and Eurobent Sp.zo.o. (49%). Thrace Eurobent S.A. is domiciled and operates in Thrace, Northern Greece, and the full operation of the plant is expected by the end of February 2015, after the completion of the trial tests.

 The Company's target is to utilize the modern equipment and advanced methods towards the production of waterproof products via the use of Geosynthetic Clay Liner - GCL. Such products are increasingly utilized in environmental projects (such as sanitary landfills, irrigation projects, etc.). The final products will be distributed not only in the domestic market but also abroad.

THRACE PLASTICS Group proceeded with the establishment of the above production line in order to further expand its product spectrum in the area of the Technical Fabrics taking advantage of its strong know how.
