SPRIDER STORES S.A. pursuant its initial announcement released on March 30^th 2012, announces to investors that after the arson attack that broke out on February 13^th, 2012, which destroyed completely the company's central offices and warehouse, is not in a position to issue FY 2011 financial results, since the audit performed by the company's legal auditors is still in progress, despite the initial estimate that the FY 2011 financial statements will be published up to Thursday, May 24^th at the latest. The destruction of records and the temporary damage in the company's infrastructure have led to unexcelled delays in editing the financial statements of the Company and the Group, as well as in the control performed by the company's legal auditors, delays which are not yet overcome.

As a result of the above SPRIDER STORES will not be in able to meet the deadline set by the Law, concerning the release of the interim financial statements regarding the first quarter of the current year.

The company will commit every possible effort in order to issue the financial statements of both FY 2011 and Q1 2012 within the next month.

In any case the Company intends to inform investors for any kind of development.
