OPAP S.A. has been advised that, following an anonymous letter addressed to the Public Prosecutor and after completion of a preliminary investigation, charges have been pressed against six current members and one former member of its board of directors for breach of fiduciary duties (as misdemeanor), regarding a decision they adopted acting in such capacity in relation to the assignment of certain advertising services to an advertising company.

These individuals have been served with summons to appear and defend themselves before the investigating magistrate and will request their acquittal through their written submissions, as they believe that the assignment of these services to the advertising company was in compliance with the law and under financially beneficial terms for the company.
