"ALFA-ΒEΤΑ" VASSILOPOULOS S.A., in accordance with the decision of its Board of Directors dated 27/4/2006 and the approval of the General Meeting of April 28th 2006, and in accordance with Article 279 par.1 of the Regulation of the Athens Stock Exchange, announces the following:
- Those who are shareholders of the company after the end of the A.S.E. trading session on 03.05.2006 (date that the beneficiaries of dividend are defined), and are the shareholders as of May 3rd 2006, as registered with the official shareholders' book of the company and in the records of the Central Securities Depository of Athens, are entitled to receive dividends. Consequently, starting on May 4th 2006, which is the ex-dividend date, the shares will trade in the Athens Exchange without the right to dividend. Net dividend per share amounts to 0,31 EURO.
- The payment of the dividend for fiscal year 2005 will take place on 12.05.2006 through the bank EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A., as follows:
1. Through the Operators of the Greek Dematerialized Securities System (DSS/SAT) in accordance with the new distribution procedure as provided for in articles 329 of the A.S.E. Regulation and 39 of the CSD Regulation.
2. As regards the shares that are kept in the special account of the Securities Account Number of the Investor, the dividend will be paid through the corresponding DSS/SAT Operator (Bank), after a relevant application.
3. Through the branch network of EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.Α., for the shareholders who have not authorized a DSS/SAT Operator or have requested an exception from their DSS/SAT Operator (at least five days before the date of dividend payment and after a relevant application to the Central Securities Depository), or for the shares that are kept in the Securities Account Numbers of the of non presented investors. In this cases, the dividend payment will be effected directly to the shareholder by disclosing the Identity Card, the V.A.T. and a copy of the DSS/SAT data (optional).
The payment of the dividend for the fiscal year 2005, through the bank EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A., will last five years (until 31/12/2010).
