Athens, January 3, 2014 –The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (OTE SA or the Company) announces that, in accordance with article 16 of Codified Law 2190/1920,article 9 of Law3340/2005, the nr 2273/2003 EU Regulation, the resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders of 26.06.2013 and the nr 6/11-10-2013 decision of the CEO, it acquired on 02.01.2014 through the ASE member Alpha Finance Investment Services S.A. 9,000 own shares, for an average price of €9.7500 per share, of total value €87,750.00. In total, the Company holds 1,206,959 own shares representing 0.246243% of its issued share capital.

This announcement is published in accordance with Law 3556/2007, the Decision 1/434/03.07.2007 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, articles10 and 13 of Law 3340/2005 and the Decision 3/347/12.07.2005 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
