CH. K. TEGOPOULOS EDITIONS S.A. announces that on the 04th of June 2007 in the offices of the company at 10 - 16 Minoos str., in Athens, took place the annual briefing of analysts with regard to the economic results of use 2006 and the prospectives of 2007.
It was reported that the turnover in 2006 (as far as it concerns the group and the company) amounted in the sum of 124.8 mill. of Euros against 109.5 mill. of Euros in 2005.
The Loss after taxes for the use 2006 for the group amounted in the sum of 6.2 mill. Euros against 1,1 mill. of Euros loss in 2005, as long as for the company amounted in the sum of 6.0 mil. Euros against 1.5 mil euros for 2005 .
The company in the use of 2007 attempt any effort to have a profitable result by reducing the production cost of its printed material by cutting off insets and embody them in its newspapers, the annulment of free offers and their replacement by paid offers and reduction of the advertising fees, and on the other hand increasing the turnover, by raising the revenue form merchandising sales - offers and the raise of advertising revenue along with the increase of the third part printing revenue of the Company?s factory in Koropi by its full exploitation.
The above decisions have been set forth since October 2006 resulting for the last trimester of 2006 as long as the first five months of 2007 in profitable results.
