ASE Marketing Plan for the year 2002
For the purposes of providing more accurate market information, the Athens Stock Exchange will continue the training for the investment public in the year 2002, through the free phone line at the Help Desk Dpt, the free training seminars throughout Greece and the specific publications-editions.
The attraction of foreign investors through the presentation and promotion of the market and the investment opportunities in Greece, the legal framework for the harmonization with the developed markets, the supply of information of various foreign analysts through presentations in Greece and abroad, the design of special webpages and the offer of other audio visual services are fields of activity with special emphasis.
Listed Companies that have adopted quality standards of transparency and internal operations and present high communication with investors, according to the international standards, will be promoted so as to serve as examples for the other listed Companies.
The necessary actions will take place for the development and the efficient operation of the market, the corporate bonds, the tradable mutual funds, as well as new investment tools, products and markets.
The pricing policy will be reconsidered, according to the services provided, the international practice and the revenues policy of the Group.
The presence of the Athens Stock Exchange will strengthen in international organizations and federations where it belongs, the contacts with the stock exchanges of the developed countries will be reinforced and the relationships with the stock exchanges of North-Eastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean will further improve. In the meanwhile, the promotion operations of the Marketing Divisions will keep on.
The budget of the Marketing Plan for 2002 amounts to Euro 4.2 million (GRD 1.4 billion) and will be divided by the 1/3 for the training and information of the Hellenic investment public and by 2/3 for the strengthening and promotion of the market, both in Greece and worldwide, as well as for the attraction of Greek and International Institutional and Private investors.
