The Athens Exchange Group Supports the Hellenic Fire Service with the Donation of Two Vehicles


The Athens Exchange Group announces the donation of two state-of-the-art vehicles to the Hellenic Fire Service, aiming to enhance its operational capabilities in tackling wildfires and protecting citizens and the natural environment.

 

This initiative is part of the Athens Exchange Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, which focuses on the tangible support of Greek society and the promotion of sustainable development. The new vehicles will significantly contribute to the more effective execution of the Fire Service’s critical mission.

 

During a special ceremony held on Wednesday, June 11, at the Ministry for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection to honor the donors of the Hellenic Fire Service, the Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, expressed his gratitude to the donors for their prompt and generous response in supporting the Fire Service’s mission. He emphasized that the Ministry and the Fire Service make use of every contribution with utmost responsibility, always prioritizing actual operational needs.

 

Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Mr. Evangelos Tournas; Deputy Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection responsible for Relief Affairs, Mr. Kostas Katsafados; Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr. Ioannis Bougas; and the Chief of the Hellenic Fire Service, Lieutenant General Theodoros Vagias.
