DIEKAT S.A.''s management, in accordance with article 10 par.1 of L.3340/2005, would like to announce to its shareholders and all investors the finalization of an exclusive cooperation agreement (as signed on December 1st, 2006) with the contracting company BETANET S.A. aiming at the Romanian housing sector as well as the Romanian sector of prefabricated projects, with BETANET S.A.''s concrete elements.
Under this cooperation a new company will be established in Romania with equal participation (50% - 50%) from both parties.
The company will operate a new precast concrete production plant situated in DIEKAT Group''s property which will be equipped by BETANET Group''s machinery and run under the latter''s extensive know how.
The new investment is estimated to be initiated by the end of the first semester of 2007 while it aims at capitalizing on the growing housing needs witnessed in the Romanian market. Initial projections are positive given DIEKAT S.A.''s long presence and experience in the market in question and BETANET S.A.''''s track record and experience in residential construction and prefabricated projects.
