According to the provisions of Presidential Decree 51/1992 and following the notification that we have received from IRF European Finance Investments Ltd, Proton Bank hereby informs the investors'' public that on November 15th, 2006 there was a change in the percentage of voting rights on Proton Bank common registered shares owned by IRF European Finance Investments.
The change in the percentage of voting rights was effected due to the fact that on November 14th, 17.547.930 new common registered shares began trading in the Athens Exchange. These new shares were issued from the share capital increase of Proton Bank S.A. by way of the merger through absorption of Omega Bank S.A. and Proton Securities S.A. and raised the total number of shares which divide the share capital from 45.135.892 to 62.683.822.
In more detail, before the change IRF European Finance Investments Ltd owned 28% of the voting rights on Proton Bank S.A. and 28% of share capital, corresponding to 12.638.050 shares. After the change the percentage of voting rights belonging to IRF European Finance Investments Ltd descended to 20,16% and the percentage on the company''s share capital also descended to 20,16% corresponding to 12.638.050 shares.
The total share capital of Proton Bank S.A. is divided to 62.683.822 common registered shares.
The change was communicated to the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission on November 15th, 2006.
