Changes in the Composition of the ATHEX Index Series

Athens, 04 November 2009

Due to the transfer of trading of the shares of the company "THESSALONIKI WATER AND SEWAGE COMPANY SA" to the Surveillance Category of the Athens Exchange and according to the Ground Rules for the Management of the FTSE/Athex Index Series the following changes will take place.

More specifically:

  • Athex Composite Price Index

    • The shares of the company are removed from the index without replacement.
  • Athex Total Return Index

    • The shares of the company are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex Mid 40 Index

    • The shares of the company are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex 140 Index

    • The shares of the company are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex International

    • The shares of the company are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex Utilities

    • The shares of the company are removed from the index without replacement.

All changes are effective from Thursday November 05, 2009.
