Changes in the composition of the ATHEX INDICES

Following the continuance of the suspension of trading of the shares of the companies "ATTI-KAT S.A." and "PARNASSOS ENTERPRISES S.A." and according to the Index Series Ground Rules the following changes will take place in the composition of the Indices.

  • FTSE/Athex SmallCap 80

    • The shares of the companies are removed from the index and replaced by the shares of the companies "ALPHA GRISSIN INFOTECH S.A." (investability weight 30%) and "VARDAS S.A." (investability weight 30%).
  • FTSE/Athex 140

    • The shares of the companies are removed from the index and replaced by the shares of the companies "ALPHA GRISSIN INFOTECH S.A." (investability weight 30%) and "VARDAS S.A." (investability weight 30%).
  • FTSE/Athex Financial Services

    • The shares of the company "PARNASSOS ENTERPRISES S.A." are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex Construction & Materials

    • The shares of the company "ATTI-KAT S.A." are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex Retail

    • The shares of the company "VARDAS S.A." are added in the index with investability weight 30%.
  • FTSE/Athex Technology

    • The shares of the company "ALPHA GRISSIN INFOTECH S.A." are added in the index with investability weight 30%.
  • Athex High Velocity Index

    • The shares companies are removed from the index without replacement.

All changes are effective from Monday, April 14 2008
