Changes in the composition of the FTSE/Athex INDEX SERIES

Following the Decision of the ATHEX BoD on April 17, 2008, referring to changes in the composition of the Category Trading Status the following changes will be realized in the composition of the FTSE/Athex Index Series.

More specifically:

  • FTSE/ Athex SmallCap 80

    • The shares of the companies "HERACLES GENERAL CEMENT COMPANY S.A.", "KEKROPS S.A." and "LAMPSA HOTEL S.A." are removed from the index and replaced by the shares of the companies "SPACE HELLAS S.A." (investability weighting 20%), "YALCO - CONSTANTINOU S.A." (investability weighting 40%) and "ELVE S.A." (investability weighting 40%).
  • FTSE/ Athex 140

    • The shares of the companies "HERACLES GENERAL CEMENT COMPANY S.A.", "KEKROPS S.A." and "LAMPSA HOTEL S.A." are removed from the index and replaced by the shares of the companies "SPACE HELLAS S.A." (investability weighting 20%), "YALCO - CONSTANTINOU S.A." (investability weighting 40%) and "ELVE S.A." (investability weighting 40%).
  • FTSE/ Athex Constructions & Materials

    • The shares of the company "HERACLES GENERAL CEMENT COMPANY S.A." are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/ Athex Financial Services

    • The shares of the company "KEKROPS S.A." are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/ Athex Travel & Leisure

    • The shares of the company "LAMPSA HOTEL S.A." are removed from the index without replacement.
  • FTSE/Athex Personal & Household Goods

    • The shares of the companies "YALCO - CONSTANTINOU S.A." (investability weighting 40%) and "ELVE S.A." (investability weighting 40%) are added in the index.
  • FTSE/Athex Technology

    • The shares of the company "SPACE HELLAS S.A." (investability weighting 20%) are added in the index.

All changes are effective from Friday, April 18 2008
