The Athens Exchange, regarding an announcement of the company ALTEC S.A., asked for clarifications about the impact on the economic status or the general financial course of the company, according to P.D. 350/85, article no. 5 and the Regulation no. 5/204/14.11.2000 of the Capital Market Commission, article no 2, par. (a) and article no. 4, par 1.

The announcement of the company refers to the following: ''The company and its main shareholders and Members of the Board of Directors Mr A. Athanasoulis and Mr G. Valsamidis submitted on 18.2.2003 a prosecution call against the Editor Mr G. Kouris, concerning blackmail.

The plaintiffs, respecting the institutions, do not intend to proceed to further announcements, while the case is pending at Court.''
