COCA-COLA HBC CONSOLIDATED PROFITS FOR 2000

The consolidated Coca-Cola HBC S.A. Pro Forma Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the year 2000, according to International Accounting Standards (IAS), increased over the previous year by 13% to EUR 436 million (GRD 148.6 billion).Sales volume in the European countries of the Group increased by 6% versus last year, while consolidated Pro Forma revenue increased by 7% to EUR 3.2 billion (GRD 1.1 trillion).The consolidated Profit Before Tax as published, according to the Greek Chart of Accounts, amounts to GRD 32.4 billion (EUR 95.2 million) versus GRD 37.3 billion (EUR 109.5 million) last year. These results include the consolidated Pre-Tax Profit of the newly acquired Coca-Cola Beverages Plc for the period Aug. 9 to Dec. 31, 2000, as well as the finance and other costs of the acquisition.Pro Forma results for the year to Dec 31st 2000 under International Accounting Standards will be released on Thursday March 1st 2001.Coca-Cola HBC S.A. will continue to report quarterly results under International Accounting Standards in Euros.
