Comments on an Article

In light of articles referring to the involvement of AKTOR in the “Special Declaration of End of Works” sent by the contractor joint venture of the Thessaloniki Metro project to Attiki Metro, the management of the company ELLAKTOR would hereby like to clarify the following with a view to restore the truth:

1)                Under an agreement entered into with the crediting banks of AEGEK in May 2013 so that AKTOR provides consultancy services to AEGEK GENERAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY with regard to its projects under construction, AKTOR acquired preferential shares without voting rights.

2)                Under no circumstances does AKTOR participate in the management of AEGEK, let alone in the decision-making processes for the execution of the Thessaloniki Metro project. Such decisions are adopted by the contractor joint venture, in which AEGEK (participation percentage: 28.76%) and the Italian companies Impregilo - Ansaldo - Seli – Ansaldobreda participate.
