Regarding the article published in ?Kathimerini? newspaper on March 18th, 2004, with reference to the interlocutory injunction issued by Division D of the State Council, ordering the provisional revocation of the transparency certificate issued by the National Radio and Television Council for our Company, in view of the signing of a contract for the implementation of a project on the Egnatia Odos Motorway, "Metsovo Interchange to Panagia Interchange" section, in the tender for which our company was the lowest bidder, we would like to state the following:

First of all we would like to note that this is merely an interlocutory injunction and not a Court decision, as the article implies, and furthermore that the National Radio and Television Council did not appear to present its views and any corroborating evidence, even though it was called to do so. Hence, the above injunction was issued without hearing the "other side", and in any case has interim effect.

What must be noted, however, is the fact that a petition for the annulment of a similar transparency certificate against our company had been heard before Division D of the State Council already as of February 3rd, 2004, and the final decision on that petition is imminent. With regard to this case and on the occasion of similar articles in the same newspaper, our Company has informed investors with a very detailed statement.

Moreover, we would like to clarify that reference in the article at issue that the Rapporteur in the above case "considers that there is no proof of the financial independence" of a specific person, is utterly inaccurate, malicious and detrimental to our lawful rights.

Finally, our Company feels obligated to inform investors that it has and will continue to exercise its activities in full transparency and within the framework set forth by Law, and declare, yet once again, that it has complete confidence in the Greek Justice.
