Regarding a publication of euro2day website on 16/5/2006, concerning the company Alapis (a company that is expected to be formed after the merger of the companies Veterin, Lamda Detergent, EVIK and Elpharma), it is noted that in a previous phase, the Boards of Directors of the involved companies have proceeded to announcements in relation to both the merger of the companies and the imminent capital increase after the completion of the merger. Until now, the Boards of Directors of the companies verify that there are no later decisions concerning the aforementioned issues. Furthermore, issues such as those mentioned in the publication, that is, the size of the capital increase, the guarantee of the cover of the increase, etc. indeed constitute facts that the companies'' Managements have under consideration, taking into account the conditions prevailing in the market, without however having proceeded to any relevant decision, which in any case will be disclosed to the investment public once it is received, according to the articles in effect of the Athens Stock Exchange Regulation.
