Comments on Recent Press Article

Referring to recent press reports regarding: a) contracts with insurance companies'b) tenders for supplies and c) comparison of financial figures, we would like to answer the following:
1."HYGEIA" has indeed signed recently (16th of July 2007) an agreement with "ALLIANZ" and from the end of July onwards, all insurance holders are served by the hospital.
2.Among the synergies that the companies "HYGEIA", "MITERA" and "LITO" have decided to materialize are the synergies that emerge from the supply of materials. Taking into consideration the reduction of cost of supplies and the assurance of better financial performance for the companies and the guarantee of lower prices for the in-patients, the committee of synergies of "HYGEIA", "ΜITERA" and "LITO" has decided to unify the supplies. On the peak of these efforts is the submission of an open invitation of interest for cooperation with all Supply & Service Companies in Greece and abroad. This will be concluded following the merger of "HYGEIA" with "MITERA" through a share capital increase of Hygeia by a contribution in kind of Mitera shares.
3.Regarding to financial figures and other comments that are included in the press-reports, regarding the reduction of several costs for example the Company's and the group's administration expenses or the increase of profit margins, these are data that emerge from the published financial statements and from the annual report of the previous fiscal year.
