The company Constantinos Cardassilaris & Sons S.A. - CARDICO announces that on September 15, 2006, it signed a repurchase contract for a property on 152, Orfeos & Dimaraki Street in Athens with the company ΑLPHA LEASING S.A., which had leased the said property from the company in 2002 through a financial leasing. The property in question, covering a total surface of 5,893 m2 is built on a 4,937 m2-plot and is the old factory of CARDICO which had caught fire in January 2003. The property's acquisition cost amounted to Euro 2.6 mil. and the funds used for its purchase came from a long-term borrowing from Alpha Bank. Please note that the purchase of the said property is a move of strategic importance given its privileged location in the area of Eleonas and the great perspectives opened up for its exploitation within the frame of the rapid growth of the area, which is expected to significantly increase its market value.
