In application of article 276 par. ΧΙΙ of the Athens Exchange Regulation and of article 10 par. 1 of Law 3340/2005, SPRIDER STORES S.A. announces that on 31/07/2007 the ordinary tax audit for the fiscal years 2003 - 2006 was concluded. The audit imputed to the Company a tax difference amounting Euro 1.741.392,00, which accrued income tax of Euro 641.386,08 and a penalty of Euro 204.454,00, totalling to Euro 842.840.08. The Company paid one fifth (1/5) of the above sum at the closing of the settlement, while the rest will be paid in 24 equal monthly non interest bearing installments. It must be noted that the Company has formed a provision for the unaudited years, amounting Euro 850.000,00, which has accordingly reduced its net earnings for the first half of 2007. Consequently, there will be no additional burden for the financial statements of fiscal year 2007.
