NIREFS S.A. announces herewith that, within the Group's effort to enhance its presence in the Turkish market where the fish-farming sector presents great growth potential, it finalised today the conclusion of agreements for the acquisition of 34.44% of the shares of the Turkish company "ILKNAK" for the amount of EUR 1,010,000. The aforesaid company, in which SEAFARM IONIAN GROUP already holds 65.14% via its subsidiary company SEAFARM (Central Europe) GMBH, which is based in Germany, operates in fish-farming, with registered offices in Izmir. The companies AQUACOM LTD (holding company based in British Virgin Islands, subsidiary of NIREFS by 100%), NIREFS S.A. and SEAFARM IONIAN S.A. via the sale of shares by the remaining shareholders acquired 34.44%. More specifically, the company AQUACOM LTD acquired from the company FJORD MARIN TURKEY 31.26% of the shares of ILKNAK, NIREFS 3.09% from Mr.Tunc Uyar and 0.01% from Mr.Kenan Ozcelik, while SEAFARM IONIAN acquired 0.08% from Mr.Erdogan Sahin. Acquisition costs were covered by the own funds of the buying companies.Through this acquisition the Group expects to expand further its activities in the Turkish market. Thus, considering the completion of the aforementioned agreements, the company ILKNAK has henceforth the following shareholdings: SEAFARM (CENTRAL EUROPE) GMBH (65.14%), AQUACOM LTD (31.26%), NIREFS S.A.(3.1%), SEAFARM IONIAN S.A. (0.08%), while 0.42% is held by a Turkish retail investor.
