Contract between INTRACOM Defense Electronics and NATO

Following an international tender issued by NATO, on November 20 2006, INTRACOM Defense Electronics signed a 3-year contract with 2 more years renewal option with NAMSA (NATO Maintenance and Supply agency). NAMSA is responsible to assist NATO nations by organizing common procurement and supply of spare parts and arranging maintenance and repair services necessary for the support of various weapon systems of NATO nations. The contract concerns the support of the PATRIOT air defense systems in Europe (Dutch, German, Greek, Spanish and US systems in Europe), which was performed in Germany until now. Through this contract award from NATO, INTRACOM Defense Electronics includes in its international clients list technologically advanced European countries and, at the same time, strengthens its collaboration with NATO partners. INTRACOM Defense Electronics has developed significant know-how and technological infrastructure for the support of PATRIOT systems, in the frame of PATRIOT PAC-3 systems that were procured by the Hellenic Air Force and the company manufactured and integrated the majority of their electronic systems.
