Proton Bank S.A. announces that, as per the decision of the Board of Directors on May 8th 2007, in implementation of the decision of the General Meeting of its Shareholders on November 24th 2006, it intends to proceed with the purchase, during the period between May 22nd 2007 and November 24th 2007, of own shares for up to 10 % of the total share capital, i.e. up to six million two hundred sixty eight thousand three hundred and eighty two (6.268.382) shares of the company, at a maximum purchase price of EUR fifteen (15) and a minimum purchase price of EUR five (5).
