HERACLES GENERAL CEMENT COMPANY announced today 11/6/2004 that the Annual General Assembly of its Shareholders approved the distribution of net dividend of 0,40 euro per share for 2003. The dividend will be sent in the form of registered checks through the National Bank of Greece.

Entitled to the dividend are all shareholders of the Company by the expiry of the session of Athens Exchange on 11 June 2004. The shares will be traded ex-dividend in Athens Exchange from Monday 14/6/2004.

The checks for the dividend together with the statements of payment for tax authorities will sent by post to Shareholders addresses starting July 19, 2004.
