Election of new member to the BoD of the Company

March 9^th 2010 - Hellenic Exchanges' Board of Directors, at its meeting yesterday, elected Mr. Alexandros Tourkolias, as new non-executive member, in place of Mr. Ioannis Pechlivanidis who resigned. Mr. Tourkolias is General Manager of Corporate and Investment Banking at National Bank of Greece S.A.

The election of the new member will be put to shareholders for approval at the next General Meeting of the company.
