Election of new members to the BoD of the Company

29 December 2009 - The Board of Directors of HELEX, at its meeting today, elected the following new non-executive members:

· Mrs. Adamantini Lazari, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of the Agricultural Bank of Greece, in place of Mr. Vasilios Drougas, who resigned.

· Mr. Spyridon Pantelias, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of TT Hellenic Postbank, in place of Mr. Antonios Kaminaris who resigned.

The election of the new members will be put to shareholders for approval at the next General Meeting of the Company.
