Bridgnorth Aluminium, an aluminium rolling mill located in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, UK, a Joint venture of the Greek ELVAL S.A. (75%) and of the Japanese UACJ Corp. (25%) is proceeding with new investment for a total value of £41 million, that will enhance its Research & Development facility and expand the production capacity of its lithosheet production unit.

 The Research & Development laboratory will come into operation in early May 2014. This is a newly constructed facility, an addition to those already existing in Bridgnorth Aluminium and in the corresponding R&D centres of Elval in Greece and of UACJ Corp. in Japan.

 The increased production capacity in lithosheet will result from the installation of an additional cold rolling mill and a new litho finishing line. The new investment increases the production capacity of the Bridgnorth Aluminium factory by about 75.000 tons per year, more than doubling the company's current capacity. The scheduled start-up of the new processes is late 2015.
