Piraeus Bank S.A., further to its announcement as of 16/6/2006 in relation to the liquidation of tangible registered shares which have not been deposited for dematerialization, announces as follows: By resolution no.3/387/19.6.2006 of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, the deadline for dematerialization of the tangible registered shares is extended until 31/10/2006. Shareholders who hold tangible registered shares are kindly requested to contact as soon as possible and, in any case, the latest until Monday October 23, 2006 the Share Register Section of Piraeus Bank S.A.
