Farewell to Our Founder

With deep sadness the members of the Papathanasiou family, as well as the Board of Directors and the staff of ELTON, bid farewell to its Founder Nestor Papathanasiou, who passed away on Friday, May 30, at the age of 84.

Nestor Papathanasiou, with endless patience and persistence in his business vision, managed to create a dynamic company with extroversion, leading ELTON to the top of Greece and among the largest chemical raw materials trading companies in Europe.

His dynamism as a businessman and his simplicity as a person have been and continue to be, a daily example for every employee of the ELTON Group companies.

The value he always gave to the human factor will remain a legacy for the continuation of the activities of the Company and the Group.

All ELTON employees express their deepest condolences to his wife Eleni and his daughters, Panagiota, Alkisti and Ilektra.
