The final contract for the acquisition of the company INTERKEM HELLAS S.A. was signed
The company NEOCHIMIKI L.V. LAVRENTIADIS S.A. announces, following the conclusion of a preliminary agreement for the purchase of 100% of the company INTERKEM HELLAS S.A. and after the approving decision 323/v/1412206 of the Plenary session of the Competition Commission, that today, December 15, 2006 the final contract for the acquisition of the company for the price of 14 mil. Euro was signed.
The benefits from this acquisition are significant for NEOCHIMIKI L.V. LAVRENTIADIS S.A., since the company achieves to expand its range of products, obtains privately-owned facilities for production, warehousing and distribution of chemical products, as well as an area for berthing cargo ships at the region of Vathi, Avlida, while through the development of economies of scale it can ensure operating cost reduction and profit margin increase.
After the said acquisition, the company''s management revises its FY 2007 provisions, expecting its sales to amount to 500 mil.Euro, its profit before tax to stand at 60 mil. Euro and its earnings after tax and minorities to rise to 40 mil. Euro.
