With an annual turnover in 2003 that, along with subsidiary companies, rises to approx. EUR 900 million, and profit before tax in excess of EUR 115 million, AKTOR SA, has permanently established itself among Europe's major construction companies.

In particular, according to the year-end 2003 accounting statements, the company's figures are broken down as follows:

Before consolidation

Turnover: EUR 860.78 compared to 750.10 million, 14.75% increase Profit before tax: EUR113.43 compared to 104.90 million, 8.14% increase

After consolidation

Turnover: EUR 898.13 compared to 809.68 million, 10.92% increase Profit before tax: EUR 115.31 compared to EUR 105.12 million, 9.69% increase Profit before tax and after minority interests: EUR 115.31 compared to 105.19 million, 9.62% increase

Besides, AKTOR SA with virtually no outstanding loans and available cash amounting to EUR 70 million, on 31.12.2003, as well as backorder of EUR 1 billion, has already paved the way for its new (post Olympic) activity.

Finally, the company, as leader in three Co-financed projects, having high participation in two more Co-financed projects, having undertaken and signed a contract for a project to be implemented abroad, and being in the final negotiation phase of another two similar projects, having expanded its activities in the field of Quarries and Mines, is daily building its future prospective.
