Athens, August 2nd 2004. M.J.MAILLIS GROUP confirms its estimates for 15% organic growth within 2004. The target of 15% growth has already been met by the second quarter of the year. Consolidated Sales for the first half of 2004 amount to Euro 168,2 mln versus Euro 146,5 mln in the first half of 2003 corresponding to an increase of 14,8%.

M.J.Maillis S.A., the Group's parent company in Greece, realized sales in the order of Euro 57,6 mln versus Euro 45,4 mln in the relevant period of 2003, marking an increase of 27%. It is worth noting that the Group's parent company attained record sales during the second quarter of 2004.

M.J.MAILLIS GROUP following the completion of the consolidation phase necessary after the explosive growth of the previous years, which coincided with particularly unfavorable economic conditions and severe slowdown in the international markets, is now entering into a new growth cycle exploiting the huge accumulated potential of the successful and confirmed investments and acquisitions strategy of the 1999-2002 period, which are starting to provide substantial returns.
