Frigoglass, a global market leader in Ice Cold Merchandising (ICM), with operations in 9 countries and across four continents, has been awarded a major distinction for its exceptional performance in Research - Technology - Innovation in the year 2005, according to the ΕU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard published annually by the European Commission.
The award was presented to Frigoglass by Mr. Dimitris Sioufas, Minister of Development, during a one-day conference organized by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Development at the Zappeion, as part of the Science, Technology and Innovation Fair that took place in Greece from 29 June to 5 July.
During the conference, awards were granted to those Greek companies that have marked the highest scores in Research, Technology and Development and which belong to the 1,000 best European enterprises investing in the field according to the well-known and reliable ΕU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard.
Frigoglass was awarded this distinction for its innovative products and services, as it holds the 5th position among Greek enterprises included in the ΕU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard for the year 2005.
Frigoglass has committed itself to manufacturing products of high standards; therefore this award constitutes an important recognition of its achievements on a European and global level.
