The FTSE/ATHEX Indices Advisory Committee at its last meeting, taking into consideration that the implementation date for review changes often falls mid-week, resulting in operational strain, decided to change the Index Ground Rules to enable the implementation of the review changes to take place over a weekend.

More specifically, par 6.1. of the Index Ground Rules "Constituent changes will be implemented after the close of business after the last trading day in May and November" will be replaced by "Constituent changes will be implemented after the close of business on the last trading Friday of May and November".

The changes will be effective from the next FTSE/ATHEX Index review implementation on Monday, November 29, 2010.

Moreover, the committee members decided to rename three indices which have a fixed number of constituents included in their names as follows:

• "FTSE/ATHEX Mid 40" renamed "FTSE/ATHEX Mid Cap Index"
• "FTSE/ATHEX SmallCap 80" renamed "FTSE/ATHEX Small Cap Index"
• "FTSE/ATHEX 140" renamed "FTSE/ATHEX Market Index"

The new names will be effective from Monday November 29, 2010.
